I've decided to kind of mix things up a little bit in terms of this blog. This blog, of course was part of my retail business. But I want to let you know about some really good things that have happened in my life.
Let me first tell you the story of the past few years--the summarized version, at least. I had allowed my health and fitness to take a back seat to other endeavors (like the business). I didn't really gain that much weight but I noticed I had gotten "softer" and not in the right places. I kind of tried to eat healthy foods but I didn't really have much of a plan in place to do so.
After a few years of this neglect I could really tell a difference. My energy (both physical and mental) were just not what they should be for a woman my age. I knew I wasn't getting the most out of life. I also knew it was time for me to consider a change.
One of the first things I did was to join a local gym. It was good--I was finally getting back on track. I was going to workout sessions around 3 times a week. But there was one small problem: I didn't really know what I was doing. Since I had always been active in sports I really had never taken the time to learn about working out. I knew I could be getting better results if I just knew a little more.
That's when I found this program review of Bikini Body Workouts by Jen Ferruggia. The blogger who reviewed this sounded like he was describing me when he shared who would benefit from this program. I was willing to commit myself to training and make the lifestyle adjustments needed for a great body--I just needed a guide.
I have been following Jen's program for three months and it has made a huge impact. I'm actually looking better now than I did a few years ago. I'll be ready to hit the beach in my new awesome bikini soon! Working out regularly and eating healthy has been awesome! I would advise any woman who isn't feeling her best to consider starting some kind of exercise program. The benefits are too many to describe in this one post.
